sex

Astarion is a victim/survivor of sexual assault and coercion. This, as well as his other experiences with being in captivity and tortured, heavily influence his feelings regarding consent. Astarion will rarely check in with partners and he has a bad habit of not seeing his own consent as important. He typically views sex and sexual favors as transactional and, depending on the scene, may dissociate. This will all depend on CR type and level as well as the scene. I'm happy to talk through all of this or avoid it as needed.

Astarion is capable of enjoying and initiating sex, but he's got a lot of mental bruises that will take time to heal.

scars

On his neck, Astarion has two clear puncture marks from where Cazador bit him. On his back, he bears large, intricate scars that his master carved into him. He may not explain those to new CR, but he will think about them if they are touched and may flinch if someone touches them without him expecting it.
